Access Facebook, Account, Android, App, Facebook App, Messages, Messenger     No comments

In time, your Message inbox can become quite crowded, and you will find it difficult to find the messages and the conversations you need. That is why is recommended to archive Facebook messages, and to delete the ones you don’t need anymore. If you have no idea about how to do it, we will show you in the guide bellow.

How long have you been using Facebook? There are millions of Facebook users all around the world, and they use the social media platform especially to communicate with other people, friends, family, and colleagues.

How to Display Archived Message in Chat Window
Launch the Facebook app on your iPhone and tap the "Messages" icon -- which looks like a quote bubble -- at the bottom of the screen. Scroll through the stored conversations to confirm the conversation is no longer stored in the active list, then tap "Message" as if you're starting a new conversation and select the name of the friend with whom you exchanged the archived message. A chat window will appear, with all past conversations between you and the friend displayed above the text entry field.

How to View the Archived Folder in the Browser
The Facebook app for iOS does not feature a direct link to the Archive folder -- nor to the Other folder, the default location for messages from users who aren't established friends. To access these conversations, launch your Safari browser and log in to the Facebook site (link in Resources). Tap the "Messages" quote bubble icon. Scroll to the bottom of the list of stored conversations and tap the "View Archived Messages" link to launch the desired folder.

How Do I Find My Archived Messages On Facebook

Access Facebook, Account, Facebook Account, Messages, Messenger, Mobile     No comments

Assuming you have private messages or chat conversations that you have stored on Facebook using the archive feature, the Facebook website will erase the said message or chat conversation from the Messages inbox as well as all other sections where it was located. It will then transfer the message to a different area; the Archives area. The whole idea of saving a message is to retrieve it when needed, however, accessing the archived section is not so easy because Facebook does not display a link to this section beside the inbox or various link titles. In order to access this section, you have to navigate to a drop-down listing which displays additional options.

Easy Steps to Access Archived Message on Facebook
1. On your Facebook Homepage click the "Messages" choice in the Favorites section to open the Messages screen. Facebook immediately displays your chat conversation history as well as private messages in a list style by date listed below the Browse field.

2. Click on "More", you will be allowed to view other options within which you will choose "Archived" from the drop-down menu. Facebook will then display the list of non-archived messages and a list of archived messages.

3. Select the message you desire to view, this will open it.

Extra Tips
1. If you wish to reply to an archived message, key in your reply in the "Write a Reply ..." box below the message. Once you are done, click the "Reply" button.

2. To include a document or photo data to an archived message, click the "Add Data" or "Include Photos" icon listed below the Write a Reply box. Select a saved data, click "Open" when prompted and after that click "Reply" to send the message.

Be aware that Facebook doesn't enable you to compose a reply if somebody you have actually formerly talked with has an impaired account or privacy setting that does not permit replies.

Congratulations!!!! You did not lose that message after all.

How to Delete fb Account Permanently from mobile without waiting 14 days - Desktop

Account, Delete, FB, Mobile     No comments

This is how to delete Facebook account permanently without waiting 14 days: In this latest Facebook Online Support article, we will show you how to delete your Facebook account forever without having to wait for 14 days or any time frame.

Delete fb Account Permanently

I believe you are tired of Facebook and you are confused on the decision to take whether to remove your account temporarily or permanently. There is a clear difference between the deleting and deactivating a Facebook account.

As you may already know, there are so many ways one can close a Facebook account without having to wait for a particular duration. Usually, Facebook takes 90 days (about 3 months) to completely erase off all data concerning your account.

This duration is to give you time in case you have a change of heart to continue Facebook. Within this 90 days, if you truly want to delete your account - - DO NOT login to your Facebook account else your deletion will be nullified and your account reactivated. Same goes to account deactivation.

Deleting a Facebook account temporarily means that you are DEACTIVATING YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT and closing it permanently means DELETING YOUR FACEBOOK. Below are the differences that exist between them.

If you choose to deactivate your account:
  • You can reactivate whenever you want.
  • People can't see your Timeline or search for you.
  • Some info may remain visible (example: messages you sent).

If you choose to delete your FB account:
  • You can't regain access once it's deleted.
  • Deletion may be delayed a few days after it's requested. A deletion request is cancelled if you log back into your Facebook account during this time.
  • It may take up to 90 days to delete data stored in backup systems. Your info isn't accessible on Facebook during this time.
  • Some things aren't stored in your account. For example, a friend may have messages from you after deletion.
  • Copies of some material (example: log records) may remain in Facebook's database but are disassociated from personal identifiers.
So, if you choose to close your Facebook account temporarily or Deactivate your account, here's how to go about it.

  • You will once again be asked if you want to deactivate your Facebook account, tap on the "Deactivate" button to deactivate your Facebook account.

  • After you've provided the needed information, click on the ‘Deactivate’ button for deactivation.
  • Facebook will once again ask you to confirm your decision to deactivate Facebook account. Click on the "Deactivate Now" button to immediately deactivate your Facebook account.

If you choose to delete your Facebook account permanently or Delete your account, here's what to do:

You are advised to download a copy of your Facebook data before you delete your account for future purposes. To download a copy of your Facebook data:

  • Click the downward arrow at the top right of any Facebook page
  • Select "Settings"
  • Click on the link at the bottom of the main menu that says "Download a copy of your Facebook data".
After you have downloaded your data on Facebook, all you need to do is visit this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account, click on "Delete my account", then follow the steps to confirm your Facebook account deletion.

If you have the steps above correctly, your Facebook account will be deleted immediately but you may have to wait for 90 days before everything concerning your account will be deleted.

To be on the safer side, after 90 days, don't still log back to your Facebook account because your tracking of days might incorrect. I will advise you use your friends account to find your account. If you don't see it, know that the deletion has worked.

Cheers!!!
