Select Settings
Click General in the left column

If you deactivate your account your profile won’t be visible to other people on Facebook and people won’t be able to search for you. Some information, such as messages you sent to friends, may still be visible to others.

If you’d like to come back to Facebook after you’ve deactivated your account, you can reactivate your account at anytime by logging in with your email and password. Keep in mind, if you use your Facebook account to log into Facebook or somewhere else, your account will be reactivated.

This means your Facebook profile, including things like your friends, photos and posts, will be completely restored. Remember that you'll need to have access to the email address you use to log in to reactivate your account.

First, you need to log in to your Facebook account by entering your Facebook credentials.
Once login, take the cursor of your mouse to the arrow icon facing downward located in the top-right corner of the page and click on it.
A drop-down menu will appear where you need to select the “Settings” option.
Then, select the Security tab from the left panel of the screen.
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find the ‘Deactivate your account’ option. Click on it.
After clicking the option, a tab will be extended where you need to click on the blue colour ‘Deactivate your account’ link.
A new page will be open, where you need to enter the password.
After entering a password, click on the ‘Continue’ button.
You’ll be directed to a new page, where you need to tell the reason behind your deactivation.
After filling the prompt information, click on the ‘Deactivate’ button for deactivation.
Facebook will once again ask you to confirm your decision to deactivate Facebook account. Click on the Deactivate Now button to immediately deactivate Facebook account.

In order to remove a tag from a post you've been tagged in, click on the "V-shaped"

icon at the top right of the post and select Remove Tag.

Go to your activity log
Click Photos in the left column
Click to check the box to the left of the posts you'd like to remove a tag from
Click Report/Remove Tags at the top of the page
Click Untag Photos to confirm

Keep in mind that Removed tags will no longer appear on the post or photo, but the post or photo is still visible to the audience it's shared with.

People may be able to view the post or photo in places like News Feed or search results. To permanently delete that photo from Facebook, ask the person who posted it to remove it.
